550 Please configure your mail client to use authentication

Hi,

I've got a user who is receiving this message, "550
Please configure your mail client to use
authentication". He doesn't receive this message
everytime he sends an email. He might get one a day,
every other day or every few days. He currently uses
Outlook 2000 and it's configured for POP3. Does anyone
have any suggestions?

As the message says, you need to have him authenticate to the SMTP server.
