Undeliverable E-mails

Every time I try to reply to an e-mail I receive the following message:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: RE:
Sent: 6/9/2006 12:01 PM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'Gary Hunt' on 6/9/2006 12:01 PM
550 Please configure your mail client to use authentication.

I'm using Windows XP Home and Outlook 2003. How can I fix this problem?

Turn on authentication;
Tools-> E-mail Accounts-> Next-> double click your account-> More Settings->
tab Outgoing (SMTP) server
