550 Administrative prohibition

Otley farm

When I try and send from Outlook 2002 SP2 I get the above
message and mails are not sent. Even replies to incoming
messages are not sent.

I have turned on smtp Authentication and log into incoming
server.

Test Account settings works o.k.

I am running XP and all users are in the Administrators
group.

I cannot find any info under MS KB.
Does anyone have any ideas.

Settings..." on your account, then go to the "Outgoing Server" tab.

As mentioned in my original posting I have already done
this and restarted Outlook without any success in sending.
I still get the error 550

Did you try the various options there? In particular, try both "use the
same as for incoming server" and "log into incoming server before sending".
Is your connection to the Internet provided by the same ISP through which
you're trying to send? If not, you may be prohibited from sending because
you're not on their network.

same as for incoming server" and "log into incoming server before sending".
Is your connection to the Internet provided by the same ISP through which
you're trying to send? If not, you may be prohibited from sending because
you're not on their network.
