550 Access is Denied FP2003

I most recently updated (successfully) a web site in January 2007 using FTP.
I have attempted multiple updates over the past couple of weeks, but all
attempts to publish have failed with "550 Access is Denied". This suggests a
problem with the remote server... is that correct? And if it is, what at the
remote end is causing the problem?

It normally indicates a permissions error on the server. You need to
contact your host.

Tom,

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm talking to our ISP now and they don't know
what the issue could be. They are able to ftp to our site.

Keep in mind, just because they can do it, doesn't mean there is not a
problem. Since they most likely have higher permissions, they're going to
have to determine what the other permissions issues are.
