It is possible to have Windows XP Professionnal installation supporting more than 2 physical processors. For example let say I want to install Windows XP professionnal on a server platform having more than 2 physical processors.

Thanks

Windows XP Professional only supports 1 or 2 processors.
You'll need Windows Server 2003 if you wish to support
more than 2 processors.

Windows Server 2003

Just install it. It will ignore extra CPUs.
