capabilities of the underlying structure.
You can do anything with the structure and build other things that boost
productivity.
The fact is without a doubt that this 3d envoirnment can do what vista
can, its free, and it uses older less powerfull cards too.
Now only if they would port it to XP, so we could get a 3d enviornment
without needing to install the worse OS of all time> veeshtaaa
Yet again developers waste their time on fancy trimmings rather than making
it easier for the user or adding some useful functionality!
Adam Albright said:Well duh! EXACTLY what the boys of Redmond did. Windows Explorer still
sucks as a shell, (even a lot of MVPs say they don't use it) but oh
look, we gave you Aero, ain't it pretty?
The thing I find the most amusing is how blind some Microsoft
apologists always are.
What exactly has that got to do with what I said?
Are you still having trouble reading what I say?
Adam Albright said:That fact is you have yet to write anything worth reading. I think it
would be a safe conclusion to write you off as just another clueless
fanboy. Wear your badge proudly. Some of us can be objective. You
should try it some time. Does require you open your eyes first.
Well I am more objective than you as I don't actually have an axe to grind
unlike you.
However as anyone that doesn't agree with you is a fanboy I suppose you will
have to live with it,it makes no difference to me what you think as you are
always wrong.
Adam said:You objective? If you tried to stuck you head any further up
Microsoft's corporate butt you would be stuck and never get out.
What's the flip side? Everyone that doesn't line up to kiss Microsoft
ass is a troll?
Give a factual example where I've been wrong. Put it right here ===> *Albright was born.*

Charlie Tame said:It might be useful if it was reliable, however my assumption is that the
videos must have been edited to remove the parts where the taskbars
vanished without trace, some plugins quit working randomly and the
desktops became unusable forcing CTRL ALT Backspace.
3 machines tested, 2 new and 1 6 years old but upgraded. The older is the
more reliable, the newer ones, well, neither Beryl not Compiz are useful
for anything except playing with.
Sure it will improve, but it is not even beta yet, most of the plugins
appear to be not even alpha yet, so stability wise it comes nowhere near
close to Aero but on the other hand it doesn't accuse you of theft either.
See above for a start.
