After reinstalling XP Personal last month i get the message each time I log
in that I have so many days to validate windows. The question is asked, Do
you want to validate now? Each and every time that I click yes, I get the
validation window which tells me that I have already validated click on yes
an I exit from the validation page. Now I am at 30 days and the system asks
the question, tells me that we are validated, but just logs me off and comes
back to, you need to validate. And continues to loop.
Please, someone help.

I had the same problem a couple of years ago on a pc at work. No one was
able to give me a solution except to call Microsoft and work it out with
them. It was hinted that I had a pirated copy of XP but it was not. It was a
factory build that was pre-activated and I had been using it for nearly a
year. It was a pc I could spare so I didn't really care how it turned out
and I didn't feel like calling Microsoft. I made sure I got everything of
importance off of the pc. I then decided to wait out the 30 days just to see
what would happen. When the 30 days was up, I couldn't use the pc anymore
because of that very loop you mention so I just installed a new image on it
and it worked fine after that.
So all I can tell you is to call Microsoft and see if they can help. There
is no way you are going to get out of that loop since the 30 days has
passed.

Thank You.
I went on last night and did a repair with my OS disk and got a new 30 days.
Of course i had to input the PID which MS told me was not good through their
automated line. I then waited for a "tech" who told me their computers were
down, to call back later.
So, i am back up and runniing at least for another 29 days.
What a Joke.

If you are to dim to do something before the 30 days passed in the first
place it's had to have sympathy for you.

Wasn't looking for Sympathy.
I did send to MS info about my issue long before the 30 was up.
all I ever heard was that my XP must not be Genuine.
NO help at all.
Thank you for all of your wonderful help "Dobey"
