2pc's with XP pro

I have 2 work pc's with xp pro I had to chang the HHD in the second one and
now my data base from the 1st will not share with the 2nd one. The 1st one
say that the OS is in H drive and the 2nd one says C drive and says that the
2nd one has to have the OS in H drive too for it to start sharing data with
it. When I format the 2nd pc the OS always goes to C drive. How can I get the
2nd one to put the OS into H instead of C.
HELP...........

Delete the connection in the 1st pc,then re-enstall the home network.
