Hi, I have a 250 GB WD IDE hard drive - and Windows 2000 Server recognize
only 128 GB (in disk management).
The motherboard is a new one with Gigabyte chipset and in bios the hard
drive is recognized like 250 GB.
I use the hard drive like storage disk (it is not bootable) - it is master
alone on an ATA 100 cable on Secondary IDE.
What can I do for make a 250 GB partition?

Thx, Andrew.

I had a similar problem with Win2K Pro. It appears that
even after applying SP3 to enable "large" disk support you
still need to adjust one of the Registry entries.

I assume the same is true for the server edition. Sorry I
cannot recall the exact Reg. entry, but this topic is
covered in Microsofts Win2K pages.

I try SP4 - and the result is the same - it only shows 128 GB in device
manager instead of 250 GB.
I will try working in registry.
Thx anyway.
