I have been on 2007 since November, and I have never lost more than a
few seconds worth of data. OneNote saves automatically every few
seconds. So the max I have ever lost is between the last save and a
crash. That comes down to a few words max. It has been a bedrock of data
stability.
That's very impressive indeed! We know all too well how unusual that is.
Every beta build update was lossless, which I can't claim
about some other Office programs. Also, my worst experience with data
loss in beta was with...hmm, what was that program called again?
