I'm configuring Outlook 2007 Beta 2 to use a POP. I get an error during
validation of user name on POP (the same with SMTP server). The server
rejects my login with the message: -ERR invalid syntax.
I have another account, with the same ISP, that works correctly. The only
differece I can see is that in the user name that fails there is a minus(-)
sign.
e.g. the user: (e-mail address removed) works correctly.
the user: (e-mail address removed) fails.
Any suggestion?
Many thanks

Use the correct user name that doesn't fail? If the difference is in the
domain name, then you should definitely fix it.

Thanks for the answer, but the userid is assigned by the ISP and I can't
change it (and is not a mistake, is a second account).
