2007 attached messages have flying window not envelopes as icons!

When I send or receive e-mails in which I have attached other messages, the
attached messages appear as flying windows system pictures/icons rather than
envelopes. Have checked and re-installed outlook and office but cannot get
the envelopes icons back in these attachments. Really bussing me, please help?

Version of Windows? Are the icons wrong if you drag a message to the desktop
or my documents?

Hi, Windows is Vista Enterprise. If I drag to the desktop the envelope icon
on the desktop appears fine. Any ideas please?
