2003 Server issues

we have a 2003 server that
started having problems when you would log in as
administrator, it would log you in then right back out.

I ran the repair and fixed the issue with the login
now the network will not ping anything other than itself.

if you go to a command prompt and use the ping command
it says pinging and then you get ascii characters

also if you do an IPConfig it shows the subnet mask
in what I beleive is hex code 3ef:3ef:3ef:3ef:

I am not sure if that is exact but it is weird
 
I c ouldnt find any info on knowledge base
but it was determined to be winsock corruption
reloaded winsock and registry settings from another
2003 server and corrected the issues
