2003 outlook-spell check / fragment check is not availbable

Plz help! I've 2003 oulook and I cant get the red line fragment lines to
appear, nor auto correct. Only the CAps correction works, not even the i to I
works, Ive tried everything!! Please tell me good news of a secret button
that fixes this.

Diane,

The section for word editor is shaded, so i can not access this. I've made
the changes tio plain text and most of the functions are now working, but
what about the red lines & specll check?

do you have word 2003 installed? if not, it won’t be available as an option.
To the best of my recollection, spell check as you type doesn't work in the
outlook editor.
