[2003] Multiple Email Accounts?

Hi,

I've decided that I want to change over from Thunderbird to Outlook, simply
because the GUI is a lot nicer, and Outlook is feature packed. However, when
I added all my email accounts, they are putting all the emails into the ONE
inbox. Is there any way I can make three separate inboxes for all my email
accounts?

Thanks in advance ;)

Not without using different Profiles. Outlook can have only one Inbox. You
can however set up subfolders or additional folders for each acct and have
mail delivered to the appropriate folder by setting up Rules.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for the speedy reply! I had a look at the rules section, but I
couldn't find a rule to route email to a particular address into a different
folder. Should there. I'm going Tools > Rules and Alerts. Should there be one
there?

You can always add new "PST" files in outlook 2003. (File, New, Outlook Data
File). Then go to "Tools, Rules & Alerts, create a new rule", and tell it
when you receive an email from a specific account, move the message to a
specific folder.

Create multiple folders and use rules to move messages to those folders
according to the receiving account.

Yes. Use either the "through the specified account" condition (best), the
"with specific words in the recipient's address" condition, or the "with
specific words in the message header" condition.
