2000 server not detecting hard drive on install

Call me dumb or just inexperienced but I was unaware that
the RAID driver needed to be installed in order for the
hard drives to be recognized. We did however figure out
that the second of the two hard drives was bad. It isn't
recognized by anything.

that could be a SCSI ID problem...

99% of all your SCSI problems have to do with ID's, Cabling, and/or proper
temination.
