when i log on to windows 2000 pro i get a message that says stop inaccessible-boot-device. it says if this is the first time this has happened restart your computer when i did,this message apeared again it told me to go to the getting started manual for information on troubleshooting stop error.i can't because it also took my mouse.
 
Don't ask why I know this.

There is a conflict with ATi Rage cards that when you upgrade the memory,
you can lose the mouse cursor. Try using the keyboard shortcuts. Who needs a
mouse? <G>

Have you done any recent installs??

We need the exact error code, it should have displayed
along with the inaccessible boot device message.

You can always do an f8 and choose last known good
configuration.
