2000 Password

Hello,

I have forgotten my Windows 2000 Password, is it possible
for it to be recovered, what shall I do? I have spent
several days testing the password I may have changed it to.

First of all, you probably have triggered whatever your account lockout
policy is for failed attempts, although I believe that the dialog box would
likely reflect that. Presumably, this was left at the Windows defaults.

If the Administrator password needs to be reset, and there are no other
users with administrative access, there is no way to recover the password
and the operating system will need to be reinstalled.

Now, you can search the web, and find third-party utilities and various
hacks and cracks. But these are not Microsoft anwers.
