2 SIDED PRINTING

Windows help says right-click printer-click printing
preferences-on the LAYOUT tab, under PRINT ON BOTH SIDES,
click one of the following options

after I click on printing preferences the LAYOUT does not
show up and there are no instructions for 2 sided printing

What brand printer? What model? How old is it? Is it WindowsXP
compatible? This info would be helpful to solve your problem.
