2 of 3 accounts receive mail

I have Outlook 2000 running on Win ME. 3 accounts are set
up. The smtp server is set to the ISP (peoplepc.com).The
peoplepc account errors out when retrieving mail. The
other 2 accounts work fine. The problem exists in Outlook
and Outlook express. In Netscape 7.1,on the affected PC,
the account works fine as it does in OE on other PCs.
Error code is 0x800CCC0E.

There is no firewall in place,(this is a dialup
connection). The other accounts ([email protected] and
(e-mail address removed)) receive mail ok. The default account
([email protected]) uses smtp.peoplepc.com as the outgoing
mail server and has no problems sending outgoingmail. I
think I may need to reinstall Outlook and Outlook Express.
I deleted and recreated the peoplepc account with the same
results.

Been there done that. I deleted and recreated the peoplepc
account. What is confusing is that when sending mail, I
use smtp.peoplepc.com as the outgoing mail server and that
work just fine and the other 2 accounts, (e-mail address removed) and
(e-mail address removed), both receive mail and are able to send when
using smtp.peoplepc.com as the outgoing mail server.
