2 months of messages GONE!

Hello,
We have Outlook Express 6, and have e-mails going back a few years in the
inbox. Today I noticed that it had deleted just about all the messages from
this year. However, when expanding the inbox folder options, I noticed a new
folder called "temp", which had all the e-mails leading up to June, but
nothing from June to present. Does anybody have any idea why this might be
happening, and if I can do anything to recover the lost e-mails? If it makes
a difference, we have AVG anti-virus and not mcafee.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
