2 icons in the system tray

it's the second time that I see 2 icons of MSAS in the
system tray. And when I put the mouse cursor over one it
disappears.
A bug in the build 615 or in windows xp ?

Probably not new. I've seen this when the program restarts---perhaps as
part of an update process.

At present, Microsoft AntiSpyware does not work fully correctly under
accounts other than those with Administrator rights. What you have observed
is one of those glitches.

I've just login as limited account and I've seen only 1
icon, then I staied at PC without open MSAS and without
touch MSAS, and after a few hours I've seen 2 icons. I
think limited account is not important for this bug. And
this happened only with latest 615 build

I hear you. I do wonder, even without your "touching" Microsoft
Antispyware, whether it might have done an update check at startup, which
might involve restarting the background process.

I have the same exact issue, but it builds up over time.
I've seen as many as 10 tray icons when I return to my
workstation.
