First, there is a Court related site in Chicago where my client goes for case information. I cannot recreate the exact page here as you need to enter case data in order to get to any given page. In any case, on her computer alone the page will display correctly but print out as dingbats. I have tried to change the font settings in IE but do not really understand how they work. She also had a minor problem with www.aol.com, in that one area where you are supposed to pick your zodiac sign was DISPLAYED as dingbats (as opposed to printing). I actually got this to work by tinkering with the fonts settings in the IE tools menu, but then it was back to dingbats the next day. I am more interested in getting the Court pages to print correctly. They print correctly from all the other computers in their office; just this one machine will not do it, and just on this one site. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

Web Page Displays Incorrect Font
When you view a Web page that includes a predefined font, an incorrect font
may be displayed.

Can also be missing fonts, or some are corrupt.

Does she see the same thing with Print Preview? (Alt-F,v)

BTW a potential circumvention would be to select everything,
copy it to Clipboard, paste it into a WordPad window and
print from there. (Ctrl-a,Ctrl-c,Alt-Tab,Ctrl-v,Ctrl-p)

Thanks for the ideas. Unfortunately I only stop by this office once a month, so I will have to get back to you on what works.

The text in question is in various boxes on the screen, so selected them all at once would be a problem, I think

They are using Win98, too, so I am not sure if they have the Preview function

Thanks again.

I actually did get the one page to show the type correctly, but the real problem was with the other page, which they actually wanted to print. It would read correctly on screen but would PRINT in dingbats. I think maybe there is some corruption there but wanted to investigate IE before going through replacing the system fonts. Unfortunately I will not get back to trying that till the end of the month but will let you know what works. Thanks.
