2 exact Personal folders

I got a new computer: Win XP Pro, Outlook 2003. I wanted to tranfer
my Outlook.pst folder from my older machine over to the new one.

I did it, but now I have in the Navigation pane 2 exact sets of
Personal Folders (same folders, emails, etc.). When I right click
either of the Personal Folder lines, there is no option to delete
them.

How do I get rid of one of them?
Thank you very much.

at first some support link from Microsoft:

or you have to create a new outlook profile.

go under the control panel/mail/ doubleclick "show profiles", delete this
existing profile and create a new one. How to create a new profile in
Outlook 2002/2003?

I had the same exact problem on a new laptop with XP Pro
and Outlook 2003. I tried and tried to delete them with NO
luck. Only way out of it that I came up with was a resore.
I have since discovered the same condition on my desktop
running Outlook 2000 under windows 98se. Microsoft is
somewhat aware, as they have a knowledge base article
278940 that discusses duplicate references to the same
pst. Looks like a real fix requires going into the
registry, something I have never felt comfortable with.
I would be interested in any other comments.

As Oliver Vukovics responded to the original poster, the easiest way to
solve this problem is to create a new mail profile -- you can do this via
Control Panel | Mail | Show Profiles.
