I have networked two WinXP Pro boxes together and would
just like to use the second one as backup/extra storage.
Is there a way to share the monitor between both boxes? I
have previously seen a setup where pressing SCRL LOCK
(twice) and then the UP arrow would swap between boxes
using one monitor and am unsure how to set it up. Is it a
splitter for the monitor so that both boxes are plugged
into one? Additional software to accomplish this? Some
setting I'm oblivious to? Any help would be appreciated.

You can get an A/B switch from your local Radio Shack to accomplish this.

Get a KVM switch. They're not expensive and most require no hardware.
That's what I use.

My monitor has both digital and analog inputs. One is connected to the XP
Pro machine (digital) and the other to the ME machine (analog). I just
switch between them with a button on the monitor.
