1628... Installshield Wizard

Hi guys.

Before I would told you my problem i have to say sorry for
my bad english, i'm german and so i can't speak, write it
so good. Sorry for that.

I doesn't know where my problem belong to, so i've put it
into the general windows XP Theme... My problem is that,
when I only start to install the game Chrome, my pc only
returns to the desktop. So... then I try it again and again
and again. And everytime i got the fault: 1628: Failed to
complete Installation. And from this moment, I tried to
install this game, every installation with installshield
wizard will show me this fault. EVERY Installation. Wheter
it's the demo of Far Cry or Partition Magic 8, every
installation i want to start ends with this.

I try everything to solve this problem. The only way i
found is to reinstall Windows XP. But I've got not the time
and no desire to reinstall it the third time within one
week... So Are there other possibilities to solve this
problem? Or is the installation of Windows XP the only way?
