1607 Error

am getting the error meaasge "1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting
Runtime" when attempting to install "itunes for the PC" from the CD disk.
Have tried several avenues to fix it but am unable to find one. i may neede
to install the InstallShield Program but all I get is that Windows XP (Home
edition)should already have it there. Would appreciate any help direction.
First time I have posted a question, hopw I have given enough information,
and that this is the correct forum. Thank you
