Hello, I have a serious problem with my network..

I have an ordinary internet connection with a 100mbit card and a 1394 LAN
connection with another computer. The problem is course when I turn on the
fire wire connection my computer. Then windows think that that is the
internet connection and not the 100mbit card with the ADSL connection.. I
have tried to uninstall all cards but it doesn’t work at all…

In the system information are the 1394 card indexed as nr1 and the 1000mbit
card is indexed as nr2. But I can’t do any thin about it..

Do you know a solution to my problem?

Tnx in advanced…

If there's a network bridge between the 100mbit card and the 1394 LAN
connection, right-click and delete the network bridge.

Check the TCP/IP settings for the 1394 LAN connection. If it shows a
default gateway, remove the default gateway in the connection's TCP/IP
properties.
