Everytime I open computer it has reset the date for 12004 and must be manually changed before I can use the computer. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

There is a small internal battery that maintains the date and time when the
computer is not powered on. If the time/date is wrong every time you turn
the computer on, then that battery needs to be replaced. Consult your owner
manual for more details.
