100% CPU Utilization

My Toshiba Satellite laptop's CPU runs at 100% ALL OF THE
TIME, regardless if there is an application running or
not. The O/S is Windows 2000 Server and SP4 is installed.

If anyone has run across this problem and found a
resolution, PLEASE Advise.

What process is causing it? Pull up the task manager, go to the processes
tab, and find the process that's bogarting the processor.
