1 image multiple machine types

Trying to build 1 OS image for our company. we have multiple machine types. I
am aware that if the machines have different HALS, then this will not work.

My question to you is this... is anyone getting this seniro to work ?

When ever i ghost my syspreped image down to a new machine, I get the "
errors occured due to either hardware or software changes", and then it
reboots.

any suggestions would be great !
thanks

As you may very well know, sysprepped images are to a large extent 'locked
into the setup of the master machine.
The nature of an image being loaded onto another machine is that basically
you stick a binary copy of the master onto the target.
If then the target happens *not* to be identical, it stands to reason that
it won't work.
This will hold true for virtually any 'imaging' process/application you use.

Your best recorse with varying hardware is to figure out how different (or
similar) your machines are and making a sysprep image for each similar
situation.
(Not what you are looking for, I'm sure!)
