Zone Alarm Pro excessive memory usage

The following message was sent to ZA tech support, which
promises to reply in 3 to 4 business days.

XP SP2 Task Manager Processes shows vsmon.exe grows from
about 30MB when started to over one gigabyte of memory usage
during a couple of hours regardless of whether a network
interface is enabled. Page file grows accordingly. No such
problem with free ZA 5.5. Computer has two gigs of RAM.
Windows firewall is disabled. Disabling eTrust r7 AV has no
effect on the problem.

I'd appreciate hearing from someone who is having the same
experience.

It's a known/acknowledged issue with some versions of ZA.
I can't remember the exact URL for resolution, but I'd check
on Zone Alarm's forum for help.
