'Your Javascript is disabled, limited functionality is available'?

Hi,

Running Vista Home Basic.

We have two user accounts set up and on one Javascript is working fine.
However, on the other account, whenever I try to access Google e-mail, video
or You Tube I receive the following message:

'Your Javascript is disabled. Limited functionality is available.'

I have checked that scripting is enabled in Tools /Internet
Options/Security, have cleared all my browsing history & also
uninstalled/reinstalled Java.

I have tried the Java Script Test on the following website and cannot see
any blue balls: http://www.tanglewood.net/du/JavaScriptTest.htm

Any ideas please?

Thanks

As a precaution, in internet explorer under the standard
user account type, the javascript is disabled. You will need
to edit the IE properties under the standard user account
log in.

1.. Open your browser.
2.. Click on Tools button (it is located in the upper right part of the
screen)
3.. Select Internet Options.
4.. Click on Security tab.
5.. Click on Custom Level...
6.. Scroll down until you see section labeled Active Scripting.
7.. Select Enable and click OK.
8.. Click OK to save changes.
9.. Confirm Yes and click OK.
10.. Close and restart the browser

Hi Lester,

I'm confused! The account in question is an administrator account. Do I
need to change thsi to a standard account and then change?

Thanks

In IE for that user...go to Tools_Manage Add-ons_enable or disable
add-ons...you may have to change "Show" to Addons that have been used by
IE.Make sure Java is enabled

Doesn't Vista do everything, right out of the box? I thought that was the
whole purpose; make MS the sole supplier of everything.
