"Your browser has JavaScript disabled" -- NOT

George

On certain pages of the Weather Channel, for example, this one:

http://www.weather.com/activities/other/other/weather/fcst-hrly.html?locid=34238

I get this message at the top of the page:
"Your browser has JavaScript disabled. Please enable JavaScript to view
weather data on this page."

Problem is JavaScript is NOT disabled. (In IE6, went to Tools / Internet
Options / Security / Custom Level / under Scripting, all 3 items are ticked
Enabled. Went as far as to download and re-install Windows Script 5.6 from
the MS download site (restarted for good measure after the re-install), but
still get the "JavaScript disabled" message on the above page.

Any pointers, ideas, suggestions, will be appreciated.

Thanks,
George

P.S. Pls. reply in ng; e-mail address is invalid.

Hi,
Is a firewall or anti-virus program or another security program blocking
java scripts?

Thanks, Don, for the pointer. In fact, in Norton AntiVirus,
script blocking was enabled. But . . . after temporarily
disabling it and restarting the machine, the page still shows the
"JavaScript disabled" message! I re-enabled script blocking in
NAV of course.

Any other ideas will be welcome.

Try uninstalling/reinstalling NAV. You might try that website while NAV is
uninstalled- just to see if NAV was the problem.
