yahoo transfer to windows mail setup

Hi i'm trying to forward my yahoo mail to windows mail and the ollowing
message shows up for my incoming mail . I have changed the server settings
as stated in yahoo pop access. What shall I do?

Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Uncheck the box for "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."

If it was already unchecked, which antivirus are you using?

i have unchecked this box....nortons as i still have protection for another
56 days.

my mail connection stops half way and i have to reconnect.

what am i doing wrong?

Sounds like the Norton program is causing severe interference
to your Windows Mail. Uninstall it, reboot, then test Windows Mail.
If there is improvement, download and install a more compatible
antivirus like:

AVG free edition:

or
Avast free edition:
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

With either of those, during the install phase you must select custom
install, and then deselect the email scanning option.
