Yahoo mail to Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail

I am having problems with moving my Yahoo mail to Windows Mail and Windows
Live Mail. I entered all POP3 & SMTP info, change port info, checked
encrypted connection (SSL). I received message from Yahoo "We would like to
ensure that your AT&T Yahoo! Member ID, password, and email messages are
transmitted securely between your mail software (such as Outlook or Outlook
Express) and the AT&T Yahoo! Mail servers. In order to meet this need, please
enable SSL via the instructions that are available on the Help site. " and I
receive this error " Account: 'Yahoo mail', Server: 'pop.att.yahoo.com',
Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR popgate unknown command', Port: 995,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18".
...............Any suggestions?

Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Uncheck the box for "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."
