XP2 - Print notification

Is there anyway to disable this print notification? (The balloon that
appears from the printer icon in the system tray)

Printers and faxes > file >server properties > advanced > uncheck "show
informational notices..."

You can also configure the Taskbar to hide any tray icons

Right click on Taskbar / Properties / Click Hide inactive icons / Customize

Look in the Past Items for the printer icon. Select it and chose Always
hide
