Update for Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB913161)
Update for Outlook 2003 (KB913807)
Security Update for Excel 2003 (KB905756)

I am trying for days to install these updates. They just do not install.
Never in years with XP did I have that happening.

Your installation issue typically occurs when the previous Microsoft Office
components are corrupt. To correct the detailed error, I suggest that you manually
install these updates. For your convenience, I have listed the steps below.

1. Please download the updates to the desktop. For your convenience, I have listed the link of each update below:

Update for Outlook 2003 (KB913807)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...0B-DA42-43A0-8D75-5A427A6DB87E&displaylang=en

Update for Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB913161)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...d5-a82c-447f-9bb7-2b57554819ef&DisplayLang=en

Security Update for Excel 2003 (KB905756)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...3a-b409-4469-984e-6c19d8f5fe41&DisplayLang=en

2. Double click the downloaded updates to install them.

Note: Have your Office 2003 CD available as you may be prompted to
insert it in the CD drive.

After finishing the above steps, please try to access the Microsoft Update
site again to see whether you have successfully installed the updates.

I thank you so much for this EXCELLENT advice. I have manually successfully
installed all 3 updates and thereafter repaired with the original disk the
MS Office 2003.
It took a while but all seems to be ok as before.

Thanks for all the detail which really made it easier to fix my problem.
