xp-sp1 boot disk

Hello there: I've just made myself an xp boot disk with sp1 included. I was
wondering what happens if I use this disk to reinstall one day - will it
accept the same product key as before? Will there be any issues with
activating the install?
Thanks

Hi

What have you put on the boot disk? Is it a 'slipstreamed' CD?

Hi

Yes, that should be OK. Use it to boot with and then install XP - when you want to. Yes it will accept your original PK - assuming you used the original XP CD to create it.

| Yes I think thats what you call it. I got the instructions from here:

| It works, though I've not used it to reinstall anything yet.
