worm and automatic updates

I accept automatic updates from Windows, and am wondering
if my computer is safe from the worm or do I need to run
the blaster patch. In other words, did the automatic
updates at some point include the patch?

Hi Wendy, my name is Shaun and something happened to my
computer and it want allow me to update anything. This
situation happen when I called myself downloading the
patch or patches now I can't do anything without my PC
freezing up. Do you have any suggestions for me to
correct this problem?
