Winlogin.exe

Heather

My computer keeps coming up with a window that says:
Windows cannot find winlogin.exe. My winlogin.exe is in
quarantine because it was infected by a virus. Norton's
says it cannot repair winlogin.exe. Any suggestions? Is
there somewhere I can get another winlogin.exe?

Winlogin.exe "was" the virus! Your antivirus deleted it. Now you have to
remove references to it from your various startup areas! It it is in your
startup folder, delete it. Run msconfig. Look at the startup area. If it is
in there, remove the check from the box.
