Windows XP sp2 upgrade failure

I tried to upgrade my Windows 2000 PC with Windows XP SP2 Upgrade and after
the first reboot it dies. The error message is: line 134 of the inf file
\$win_nt$.~bt\winnt.sif is invalid. Setup cannot continue. I assume this is
a script file, anyone no a way around it.

Winnt.sif is an unattended installation script that is used to install
XP either without (or with minimal) user intervention. Its a text file
so you could load it into an editor and find out what line #134 says. MS
has a web page that explains the file's purpose and details the possible
entries, Google for it.

I would think it a bit unusual to find it on a purchased XP CD? I could
be wrong but what you have appears to be a slipstreamed version that
someone goofed up.
