In control panel > open Add/Remove Programs, check "Show Updates" and scroll
down until your Windows XP Service Pack > click remove button.

the problem I cant access windows, because I already begin windows Setup ,so
when I try to access windows , it said and (Setup is restarted.........) and
back to where setup stopped .. more than this i tired this but did not find
Windows Service Pack 2 listed in Add/Remove Panel , because when i upgraded
the windows to SP2 i upgraded it using Windows XP Professional with service
pack 2 built-in , so the problem i dont want to make a fresh copy of windows
, and i cant continue setup because this fatal error keeps raising
........what can I do ??

What I would suggest you do is reinstall Windows XP on a new partition, then
take ownership of the files on the old installation thats now corrupted.

Its possibility that the Window XP installation media you using now is not
compatible with current installation on the drive that you trying to repair.
What you could do is, create a slip stream of you XP CD with SP2 and try to
restart setup again, and fix the installation.

I had this same problem a few days ago, but what I did was just install XP
in a different folder (different WINNT and Windows folders), on the old
installation that was available, took ownership of my Accounts and documents
folders. backed them up and did a clean installation of XP again.
