Windows Product Activation Error Message

Rick

Does anyone know what the following error means and is
there a way to get around it. "A problem is preventing
Windows from accurately checking the license for this
computer. Error Code: 0x80090019" I am able to put my
credentials in to log on, but then I get this message and
it sends me back to the CTL+ALT+DEL screen.

More than likely you'll have to do a repair install.

This is what happens when you buy copy-protected products. When it breaks,
you are screwed. And MS rather you get screwed by their copy-protection,
than you having the easy ability to use the software you buy.

What advise did Jupiter give you? Usually, he tells people advocating "fair
use" to go "Cheney" themselves, or something to that effect.

LOL! I had this site posted at another free website area
(www.redrival.com) which had the occasional spyware download, and he
suggested I move it. I was trying various free website sites and I
found out belatedly that this particular site had these spyware
downloads. He suggested I was being a hypocrite in not so many words
for hosting my site at one that had spyware downloads. So I moved it
and put a big "thanks" to him on the site which I thought might get his
goat, since he doesn't seem to approve of it anyway, lol. I would be
willing to bet it's working too. :) Hope you had a good 4th, Kurt.
