Windows Product Activation Error

When I boot into XP Pro where it normally begins to load your personal prefrences. I get the following error

A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for this computer.
Error Code: 0x8009000

Then after I check the OK in the window with this error it will come up and say Windows Product Activation.

Does anyone have any idea how to correct this error
