Windows Mail error messages won't quit.

It sometimes helps to click on Tools, then Options, then Send. If there is
no check mark in the box before Send messages immediately, click on
this box and then Apply. Click on OK.

You can try deleting the messages in the Outbox that won't send. If any
of them won't delete, install this fix with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether to use the 32-bit version or
the 64-bit version, try the 32-bit version first. Certain common
antivirus programs, such as most of those from Norton or McAfee,
or a recent one from Trend, tend to cause such problems, so if you
have such a program, remember where to find the fix - you are
likely to need it again.

Sometimes you can click on the Outbox, right click on the message in
question,
and click Delete.

After having one message that couldn't be sent, resulting in an error
message, I have sent and received many messages. My Windows Mail is working
fine. But I keep getting the same two messages from the original incident -
The error message plus the message that "I have unsent messages in my outbox.
Do you want to send now?"
Since this is the Email that caused the Error Message, I'm in a Star Trek
loop.-
How do I get out of it? These two messages occur at every move I make.
Thanks Wayne-

Have you clicked on the Outbox, then View, then Current View, then
Show All Messages? Then you should be able to delete the message
that stays in your Outbox.

If it won't delete, download and install this fix, with Windows Mail
not running:

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in

seldom immediately, so if you have such a program, remember

Click on the Outbox, then the message that won't send, then delete it.

If it doesn't appear when you click on the Outbox, then click on
View, then Current View, then Show All Messages.

If it refuses to delete, then download and install this fix, with
Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

If you still can't delete the message, which if any antivirus programs
do you have?

Download and install this hotfix, with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether to use the 32-bit version or

antivirus programs, such as most of those from Norton or McAfee,
tend to cause these and other problems in Windows Mail, although
seldom immediately, so if you have such a program, remember
where to find the fix and hope that it will install again if you need it
again. A recent version of the Trend antivirus program also causes
assorted problems in Windows Mail.

If this hotfix doesn't delete the messages causing the error messages,
it should at least make it so you can delete them.

Download and install this hotfix, with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for messages stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether you have a 32-bit version of
Vista or a 64-bit version, try the hotfix for the 32-bit version first.
Certain
common antivirus programs, such as most of those from Norton or McAfee,
tend to cause this and other problems in Windows Mail, although seldom
immediately, so if you have such a program, remember where to find the
hotfix and hope that it will install again if you need it again. A recent
version
of the Trend antivirus program also tends to cause assorted problems in
Windows Mail.

If this hotfix doesn't delete the problem messages from your Outbox, it
should at least make it possible for you to do this.
