Windows Installer Issue

Dave

Hello,

Each time I try to install a program an unrelated MSI package is
invoked (in this case Turbo Tax) saying it cannot located TURBOTAX.MSI
and directs me to point to the location of file.

I've uninstalled the TurboTax program yet the message remains. Is the
installer corrupted?

Does the installer have a cache that can be cleared?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Use the Windows Installer Clean Up Utility. If there is a reference to
TurboTax ( I assume it is still non installed), then remove that reference.
