windows icons wont show up due to missing SHDOCVW.DLL file

i started up the computer this morning and it started up fine and went to
windows logon screen but whenever it starts up it says that i cant run
explorer.exe due to missing shdocvw.dll file any help on how to fix this
would help

This is generally a Win98 error.

That said, go to Start/Run and type in:
regsvr32.exe /i shdocvw.dll
