Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is
down or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account was not
found. Please try again later. If this message continues to appear, contact
your System Administrator for assistance.

I was working before. and all other workstations can connect to the domain
except mine. this is really wierd.

Ankit,

Does your computer otherwise have connectivity?

Is your domain setup properly to support Windows XP clients?

What's different about this computer, as compared to the other (besides the
symptom that you're reporting)?

Hi,
I am not a programmer. But, we've had signifigant issues when someone tries
to use our Win2000 network with xp home. Xp pro works fine. This maynot be
the issue with you, but it's happened a couple of times and we've had to
update the units to the pro version. Seems xp home has network issues.
All the best.

You need to log on with a local admin account.
Domain accounts will be unavailable untill the issue is resolved.

On the logon screen, select the local computer from the
drop-down box that has the domain name in it.

Enter the username and password for the Administrator account.

You may need to re-join to your domain.

XP Home cannot be joined to a domain.
