I recently upgraded a nookbook from XP Home to XP Pro. I
successfully joined the domain. After a day or two, the
user can not be able to logon to the domain.
Message: "Windows can not connect to the domain, either
because the domain controller is down or otherwise
unavailable, or because your computer account is not
found. Please try again later. If the message continues to
appear, contact your systems administrator for assistance"
My shot term solution is to login to the local computer
account as adminitrator and join a WORKGROUP. I restart
the computer, rejoin the DOMAIN via the local
Administrator account. Restart again and be able to logon
to the Domain.
I can be able to ping across the network.
I can logon to the domain account when the network is
disconnected but can not logon with the network cable is
connect.
Does any know a permanent solution or a Hotfix for this?
